As a highly experienced PR and communications industry veteran, Darcie Meihoff has led PR and earned media strategies and campaigns for a number of top brands, agencies and organizations during her career.
Most recently, Darcie served as executive vice president of earned media (PR and Social Media department) at CMD, one of the largest integrated agencies in the Northwest, before striking out on her own as an independent PR and strategic communications consultant in 2015. Her experience includes managing creative, award-winning earned media campaigns for a variety of clients in industries such as building and home improvement, manufacturing, tourism, energy, technology, retail and health-related fields.
As a consultant, Darcie focuses on PR planning, strategy, media relations, issues management and content creation. She works extensively with clients in the building products and home improvement category and also has a passion for efforts that enhance Oregon’s livability, including leading the PR and communications effort for the Save Outdoor School for All statewide ballot measure (Measure 99) in 2016.
Darcie has landed dozens of awards and honors for outstanding public relations and social media campaigns during her career, including winning a PRSA International Silver Anvil award in 2008 and the PRSA William Marsh Lifetime Achievement award in 2013. She served on the Public Relations Society of America Portland-Chapter board for many years, including as president in 2008, and on the Forest Park Conservancy board of directors for eight years until 2017, serving as board president in 2012.
